While every other fast food restaurant is releasing its latest Peppermint Mocha, Chipotle has an entirely different focus this winter. The franchise just announced the release of the new Smoked Brisket, which will be available at 64 Chipotle locations in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sacramento, California. For now, Smoked Brisket is only being tested to see if its a hit among customers, but something tells us it’s not going anywhere.
“We’re thrilled to offer a new, responsibly-sourced brisket that tastes terrific and meets our industry leading Food with Integrity standards,” Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer stated. “The richness of our real Smoked Brisket recipe delivers a craveable new flavor to our guests as we continue to innovate across our menu.”
The new protein option features smoked beef brisket that is seasoned that is marinated with a property spice blend and grilled daily. It some with a Mexican pepper sauce to give it that signature Chipotle kick. In addition to Smoked Brisket, Chipotle has rolled out and tested several other menu items in the past several months, including Carne Asada, Supergreens Salad Mix and a new Queso Blanco, as well as Cilantro-Lime Cauliflower Rice, organic lemonades, Aguas Frescas, and teas.
