When it comes to fancy treats, perhaps none comes fancier than Ferrero Rocher Chocolate.

Banana Split Frappuccino

Source: Starbucks’ Facebook

One of the most popular and comforting drinks on the Secret Menu. It’s made from ingredients that every Starbucks location has on hand for other beverages on the menu, so no matter where you live, you should be able to order one. In fact, the Banana Split Frappuccino has made its way onto the official Starbucks menu a time or two because of how popular it is.

How to order:

  • Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino
  • Vanilla bean powder
  • Java chips
  • A banana
  • Toppings – whipped cream, mocha drizzle, caramel, and dried strawberries

There’s an alternative recipe that some Starbucks locations have been serving, which starts with a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino instead of the Strawberries and Creme one. Then, you’ll ask for real strawberries, bananas, java chips, caramel drizzle, and mocha drizzle. The mocha and caramel drizzle should go on the inside of the cup instead of on top. Not all Starbucks locations have real strawberries, but if they do, this is the version I’d recommend.

  • One pump of white mocha
  • Extra strawberry puree and whipped cream in the bottom of the cup
  • Top with whipped cream

How to order:

  • Venti Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino
  • Two pumps of Hazelnut Syrup
  • Optional: Starbucks Cake Pop

Thin Mint Frappuccino

Thin mint Frappuccino

The Thin Mint Frappuccino is one of the most-ordered drinks from the secret menu, so you shouldn’t have a problem getting your hands on it. Because all the ingredients used to make the Thin Mint Frap are also used in other Starbucks drinks that are on the regular menu, there is no reason you can’t get it.

How to order:

  • Venti Green Tea Creme Frappuccino
  • Java chips
  • Three pumps of mocha syrup
  • 2 pumps of peppermint syrup

Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino

starbucks secret menu cinnamon roll frapp

The Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino is one of the most popular secret menu drinks to date, and it really does taste like the liquid form of your favorite breakfast roll. So, what goes into this scrumptious masterpiece?

  • Add two pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup

Unicorn Frappuccino

There’s no shortage of Instagram-worthy food and drink creations, and Starbucks’ Unicorn Frappuccino is no exception. This “flavor and color-changing” frap is made with pink powder blended into a mango-creme Frappuccino and layered with a sour powder topping. When you stir it, the color transforms from purple to pink and the flavor changes from sweet to tart.

The Unicorn Frappuccino was a fun drink introduced by Starbucks in April 2017. A year before this, the internet went crazy for unicorn-everything, including Unicorn Hot Chocolate, Unicorn Milkshakes, unicorn hair, unicorn clothes, unicorn paint, etc. Starbucks created their Unicorn Frap on their Secret Menu, but unfortunately for my pre-teen and all of her colorful friends, these fraps were only offered for about a week. Even though this drink was labeled as a frappuccino, there was no coffee added- but with all the sugar, who needs caffeine?

How to order:

The Unicorn Frappuccino is no longer on Starbucks ’ menu, but there are a few similar options you can ask for. These drinks aren’t “officially” on the menu, but if you ask your barista, they might be able to create them for you. I’ve brought drink recipes I found online to my local Starbucks, and they’re always happy to give it a try. Similar colorful Starbucks drinks include the following:

  • The Pink Unicorn
  • Unicorn Passion
  • Unicorn Iced Mocha
  • Vanilla Unicorn Bean Frappucino
  • Raspberry Unicorn Frappucino

Twix Frappuccino

This indulgent iced drink tastes like the world’s best candy bar. It’s creamier than the Caramel Frappuccino, which is the base of this drink because the whipped cream is blended in. Java chips give it a nice crunch and texture, reminiscent of biting into a Twix candy bar. The hazelnut and caramel syrups add that smooth buttery taste, and the drizzled mocha and caramel on top complete the richness of the Twix Frap.

How to order:

A seasoned barista will probably know how to prepare the Twix Frappuccino, but just in case, here is the secret recipe.

  • Caramel Frappuccino
  • 1-2 Pumps Caramel Syrup
  • 1-2 Pumps Hazelnut Syrup
  • Java Chips
  • Caramel sauce & Mocha Drizzle
  • Whipped cream, blended in

For an even more authentic Twix taste, grab a cookie!

Coffees & Teas

If you’re looking to start your day with more caffeine and less sugar, this section is for you. Of course, all of these can be made decaf as well – except the chai – just make sure to add that part when you order.

Candy Cane Cold Brew

While peppermints and candy canes may scream holiday cheer, you can order this drink year-round. You just need to be careful with the ratios if you order a smaller size, the peppermint can (and will!) easily out-compete the white chocolate.

How to order:

  • Venti Sweet Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew with no vanilla
  • Four pumps of white mocha and two pumps of peppermint
  • Add two additional pumps of peppermint in the cold foam.
  • Holiday sprinkles on top

Caramel Snickerdoodle Macchiato

Starbucks secret menu caramel snickerdoodle macchiato

This secret menu drink contains all the same ingredients as the fan-favorite Caramel Macchiato with soy milk, but this one comes “upside-down,” making all the delightful layers of the traditional beverage blend together. But what about the snickerdoodle part? There’s a special ingredient to make your macchiato taste like your favorite holiday cookie, and we’re about to spill all the tea (er – coffee) on what it is.

How to order:

  • Venti iced caramel macchiato upside down (I suppose you could order this drink hot as well)
  • With soymilk
  • 2 pumps vanilla Syrup
  • 2 pumps Cinnamon Dolce Syrup

Chocolate Mousse Cold Brew

Chocolate Mousse Cold Brew Starbucks secret menu item

If you’re a chocolate-all-day kind of person, you’ll love this chocolate mousse cold brew! Filled to the brim with chocolate, sweet cream, and a little vanilla to make it taste extra chocolatey (it sounds weird, I know, but it’s a thing I promise!) it’ll be hard to not jump out of bed just so you can drink this.

How to order:

  • Venti Sweet Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew with only two pumps of vanilla
  • Four pumps of mocha
  • Two pumps of mocha in the foam
  • Top with cookie crumbles

Dirty Chai

This is a simple combination of ingredients that tea lovers will adore. If you’re a fan of chai tea, then you should enjoy this drink that you can order hot or cold. Perfect if you need a caffeine booster in your tea, not to mention that it’s really tasty!

This one needs to be downed like a shot. And it’s recommended for those who need quick energy to get moving in the morning or to wake up those droopy eyes in the afternoon. Either way, expect to be awake for hours. But you have to admit, sounds like the dream of every adult attempting to tackle Monday.

How to order:

  • Two shots of espresso in an espresso cup
  • Milk

Snickerdoodle Cold Brew

snickerdoodle cold brew starbucks seecret drink menu items

Another year-round recipe that sounds dangerously like Christmas. Or maybe that’s just me? This Snickerdoodle cold brew secret menu item is a criminally underrated one. In our humble – but professional – opinion.

How to order:

  • First, ask for a Grande Cold Brew
  • Then add one pump of White Mocha
  • Then ask for two pumps of sugar-free cinnamon dolce syrup
  • Then add a splash of half-and-half
