Burger King Menu & Prices

Burger King (also referred to as BK) is an international fast food chain that’s usually seen competing strongly against McDonald’s. Although their fast food menu is quite large, Burger King prices are usually more expensive than competitors.

Burger King has more than 12,000 fast food restaurants in over 70 countries in the world. Most of these restaurants are privately-owned through a franchising system. Although its menu has evolved over the years, Burger King menu prices have not. They’re still considered to be on the upper end of the spectrum. From burgers to chicken nuggets and fries, the BK menu has classic fast food options, as well as some unique options like tacos, french toast, and veggie burgers.

Burger King started in 1953 as “Insta-Burger King” in Jacksonville, Florida. Today, its headquarters are located in Miami, Florida. One of the most popular burgers that BK offers is the Whopper, which is usually seen compared to McDonald’s own Big Mac.

Although Burger King and McDonald’s are fierce competitors, Burger King prices are overall much higher.

    1. Editorial Staff says:

Hi, breakfast prices have been added. Thanks for your suggestion. 🙂

      1. jon schroeder says:

Just came back from BK in Bellevue WA. 2x Whopper and large fry came to $10.79 (!0% tax).

        1. I went to Burger King today on June 23rd around 1:15 I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich Jr and they give me a chicken sandwich I went back in and said I ordered a spicy so what they did was to get the spicy sauce and just squeeze it on the sandwich and the lady was very rude because I said they need to get the orders right next time. No more I going to that one
802 Lancaster Dr NE, Salem, OR 97301

          1. Tony Vernier says:

Went to burger king got 2 bacon king meals and they charged 14.48 each wtf

      2. Christopher L Carney says:

The Burger King by my house in Orlando Florida constantly over charges. I’m pretty sure they are pocketing the difference because they always say their cpu is down so they can’t print a receipt

      3. When did Burger King stop serving whoppers during breakfast? If they were open you could always get a burger! You are no longer”King” of anything. So much for “ have it your way” !

        1. Mike wrasman says:

          It’s breakfast.

If you want to order a Whopper, come in after 11 a.m.

You don’t get to order lunch items during breakfast!

        2. Where you live ? Prices about double that here in Central pa.

      4. Where you live ? Prices about double that here in Central pa.

      1. Melissa Jennings says:

Don’t never come to Talladega County. The Burger King there never gets the order write. I buy for my mother. All she wants is a whopper and fries
And I order the same thing. Every time I go it has always been nothing I order. So that way they think I’ll pay all over for another order. Don’t go
Talladega is a dam real rip off. Don’t go.

    2. Renee Wright says:

I am trying to figure out how my food that I got from Burger King yesterday could cost $21.00! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal large no drink and a regular chicken sandwich meal large no drink! $9.99 each meal came out to $21.40! I got up to the window and thought they added more then I ordered! No way could it be that much! So I said something and she said yeah we raised our prices for awhile! The only reason I paid that much cuz I was very hungry and had been in that line for quite a while!

      1. Elizabeth Knight says:

Renee Wright, I believe that prices are going up just about everywhere and for most fast food establishments. We went through sonic the other day, and it was actually $10 for just a large shake. We were wondering if it is because minimum wage went up, and with benefits etc. added. We didn’t get one, that is for sure. It isn’t about being rich or poor. It is about when prices become ridiculous. We bought our own ice cream and flavors etc. and paid less than that and made several. We still go after the $5 buck boxes etc. Nothing wrong with being thrifty. If we spend 10 to 20 on a meal, it isn’t fast food. It is a good hearty meal from of our fave restaurants and not fast food. When we do eat out, we always use the apps. You can get great food discounted. We splurge every now and then, like for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries, etc. However, even then, we look for coupons and apps. Groupon is great to use as well. You can get discounted food on the BK app. My husband and I always get the 2 for meals. They are perfect for us, and reasonably priced. BK is by far our favorite go to fast food place. Download the app. They have great offers.

      2. Steve Newman says:

I got a double whopper with chesse a Jr whopper and onion rings $17.65
Thats nuts.Ill never go back .!,!,!

        1. Andrea poole says:

Go to culvers yoh will have better meal

          1. ocvikingsfan says:

            Culver’s for sure!

      3. There’s a food tax on all food orders, carry out or dine in. No different than when you buy anything; you always have state and food taxes added in. Considering your order came to $19.98 that $1.02 for taxes wasn’t bad. When I get the family bundle that’s now $16.99 I end up paying close to $19

      4. Melissa Holmes says:

All of the Burger Kings that I’ve been to lately are ripping their customers off
I will never eat at one again. And neither will family and friends. All I can say is find somewhere else to eat.

    3. Absolutely correct, this menu is totally INCOMPLETE without the breakfast items!

        1. What does the impossible meal consist

          1. Burger King is just getting like McDonald’s prices are to high now we start going to Wendy in stead high price places someone that has fix income at least Wendy has better deals

      1. Lois Heichberger says:

Honey..you figure it out. If you paid $9.99 per meal, they do not deduct to take drink off. The ready is your tax. Unless the $9.99each is an over charge. They do add extra for the large fries add on. I think you forgot about that.

    4. Greg. Benedicks says:

Not only are there no breakfast items on this menu…the replacement mini-sourdough sandwich isn’t even on their menu at the drive-through. They told me it was called the “cheesy-melt sandwich”, but when I got home it was on a croissant! I wanted it on sourdough bread. what I got was totally greasy! Their coffee is always old and too dark. This explains why nobody’s ever in the drive-thru on line when I go for breakfast there…Burger King sucks!

    5. Janice Tobin says:

I’m trying to figure out why it costs $55 for 4 whoppers a large fry and a Coke and 2 Original chicken sandwichesThis happened at Grand Mound Washington I will not go back

  2. BK needs to lower their prices to bring in more customers like McDonald does, especially low income family with kids who can not afford to go to BK but can easily go to Mcdonald.

    1. They need to make money. Its not their fault people are poor.

      1. omg madie. ok. well maybe some people don get good enough jobs

        1. or they are not smart and get on stuff and steal to sell things so maddie is right.

          1. Gloria J Masterson says:

2 large Impossible meals was $25.03???? It was good, but not that good!

        2. Green evangelist says:

          I guess if you’re on welfare….

        3. Always BKKK 29 says:

          yes she is right

        4. Tinkerbell says:

Some people, mainly high schoolers are the workers at these place. My daughter is a shift manager at McD and makes decent money but if you go to the doctor you pay to see him/her and so on. Prices are up all over the board. Saying dumb things like they don’t get good enough jobs……..really!

      2. Jerry Wilson says:

I had a Whopper meal claims that the Whopper meal is 6:49 for regular I get to the window and it cost me 941 I question it they had their prices wrong but shouldn’t they honor what is out on their board at 649 I still paid the 941 but ridiculous

      3. I actually laughed out loud when I read your comment. Thank you for keeping things in perspective!

    2. Tod Hall of Burger King LLC says:

Not everyone is poor little miss tard-pants.

    3. If you download the app they have really good coupons there. Hope that helps. ????

    4. Prices must be different where you are. In Michigan two people can eat for $5 at burger king. .Two junior whoppers 2 fries and two drinks. McDonald’s costs more than that for one person. Get the BK app for the offers. A family of 4 can eat for $12 with the family pack.

      1. Really? Our Family Bundle is $14 for only 2 of the sandwich, side, and drink.

  3. its places like bk that makes people poor

    1. Nobody Makes you go to burger king!!!!!

  4. Dawn Batterbee Miller says:

Suggest a click on any given item reveals price.

  5. What's Up! says:

Why is their a price list on everything except breakfast! You really need a price list for breakfast sandwiches!

    1. Thanks for your suggestion. Breakfast menu prices are coming soon.

  6. wow. how stupid. burger king you too pricy!

    1. No burger king is the cheapest place to go to

  7. I used to stop for breakfast because McDonald’s in Little Elm always
lets a group of men take of at least 4 tables, etc. and sit there all morning, drinking coffee refills.
I usually get at BK, a sausage & egg biscuit, NO CHEESE, and a
coffee. Twice I got my biscuit WITH cheese…then the next time, the
biscuit was raw in the middle. That was the last time for me at BK.
Why don’t the people in kitchen or counter people listen to what you
are ordering? I just stopped going.
I would like to see Wendy’s start serving breakfast once again.

  8. Can you add when they up-charge to add cheese, etc?

  9. Ricardo A. Mercado Adams says:

I was about to order from burger king delivery and I was looking at the prices its a joke their prices are way over priced the whopper combo has a 2+ dollar difference. They just lost a loyal customer.

    1. JENESSA FONTANEZ says:

the whopper is only 3.54 that is not over priced

    2. JENESSA FONTANEZ says:

the whopper is only 3.54 that is not over priced

      1. Where I am a single Whopper, by itself, no cheese, is $5.89

  10. JENESSA FONTANEZ says:

U ALL KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK.
Love your item prices. They are very cheep.

  11. Alicia Mullins says:

Our BK just raised all prices. The whopper is now a whopping $4.59! No longer worth it in my opinion.

    1. Trisha Taylor says:

BK needs to stop picking price they want you that day amazing, I order the same every morning and the price is always different. will never go back!!!!!!!

      1. How much are your grilled chicken sandwich.thank you

    2. Over priced and hardly a Whopper anymore, just a glorified cheeseburger. Remember when the meat used to hang over the bun?

  12. Paul Shiplett says:

I am a diabetic so I have to be carefull what I eat. I was just in to the BK at Stillwater OK. to get a side of sausage and a side of egg they said they were both 1.50 each which would make it 3.00 for both. How stupid does burger King think I am that I would pay 1.50 for a piece of sausage when I can get a sausage biscuit for 1.00 and through the biscuit away and come out 50 cents ahead.

PS. a piece of sausage used to be 60 cents which makes a whole lot more sense.

    1. Jordan Peterson says:

      fast food causes diabetes

      a dozen eggs costs $1

  13. Just paid $7.50+ for a plain hamburger and small fries at BK…same thing I could have gotten at McD’s for less than $2….never, never, never eat there again, what a rip off.

  14. As I have found out BK prices are much higher in California than their on line menu. Dblk Whopper online is 4.79 California 5.29 Bottle water online 1.09 Ca. 1.59 a 750% markup over buying a case of it at Wal Mart. 3.98 for 24 .01659333 RETAIL and BK pays wholesale then sales it for 1.59. The Satisfrys taste like the instan mix ones the Navy used to feed us when we ran out of potatoes. The Bugers are great And right now they have sodas for 1.69-2.39 while McDonalds is any size for 1.00 No wonder they are getting slammed by McDonald’s and I do not do McDonalds except for drinks

  15. Bridgette says:

They now have cones and/ or cups of ice cream for 50 cents.

  16. Kaiden Johnson says:

I hate Burger King not even my grandma likes it. ( And she’s a COOK for goodness sake)

    1. Hey Kaiden, your pretty funny. I myself like Bk but that’s just me.

  17. Laurie Dyer says:

Love the french fries and sweet potato fries aswell.:)

  18. Ronald Boutot says:

Burger King’s prices are too high!

    1. I agree with that. That’s the reason I usually only go when I get coupons in the mail. Even with coupons my daughter and I ended up spending a lot of money on a simple lunch one day. Maybe they’d be more competitive if they didn’t charge so much.

  19. AlexandriaJimenez says:

I love Burger King so bad and we are going to have Burger King

    1. Luna Rosee says:

      I agree with you. cx

  20. if the chicken fries are 2.99 why did the betch at my BK charge me over 4 dollars??

    1. Gregory Smith says:

i think because the prices varies by location i think they have discontinued them it does not appear anymore on bk websit

    2. They are all stupid in there, and the service is horrible, and yeah she did over charge you!! Lol

  21. I like burger king, but some of the prices are unacceptable . For example, if the crispy chicken jr is $1.00, then the Original Chicken Sandwich should not be $4.09. It should be $ 2 because the Original Chicken Sandwich is just twice the size as the crispy chicken jr. That means it should be twice the price not 4 times it.

    1. I totally agree with Macada. THAT IS SO TRUE

    2. They use processed cheap meat on the value chicken sandwich. On the large sandwiches they use premium chicken meat and there’s your price difference. I agree that their prices are ridiculously high. They think a whole lot of their mediocre food. I suggest not going there anymore.

      1. I like the coupons, & the quality in a whopper jr. competes with all fast food. And, kids burger may not contain % of trans fat to record. Have to agree on new prices in fast food though .

    3. Sarah Reasons says:

so do I BK is so expensive.

  22. I totally agree with Macada.

  23. Gregory Smith says:

looks like they have discontinued the popular Chicken Fries

  24. Did the online review and would only let you do it once in 30 days and only issued one rewards # even though we had 2 sandwiches. The receipt states “one survey per guest per month” even though their were 2 guest. Appears that each would have to order their own to enter the survey. Their Tgrill chicken sandwich is way to expensive $4.69 as well as the medium drink $1.77 + tax. Wendy’s is better plus less expensive. Don’t think I will be going there again.

    1. I love your resraunt,its awsome.BURGER KING!!!!!!!!!!

      1. Grant Koeller says:

        spelled “restaurant”
        spelled ” awesome”

    2. Some items are specially discounted. Instead of thinking of it as a discount, many people take that as the base price and feel as if they are being cheated on the regularly priced items.

  25. rebecca coody says:

    Y’all misspelled Sundae.

    1. The ice cream is spelled like that, lol

  26. I’m done with burger king, every time I add bacon to my order they leave it off and still charge me for it. It’s the same when I get someone to pick up a burger for me, no bacon except for on the receipt. From now on its going to be Wendy’s and McDonald’s when I want a burger. Sick of BK’s terrible service!!!

  27. Jack in the Box has some unbelievable sirloin burgers!

  28. Good food I like Burger

  29. Lee Lemasters says:

I love BK food. I think it sucks theres not one in my town and i seen a fairly local one has recently shut down. Im commenting because i love the angry whopper and would like to see it as a permenant item on the menu. I went out of my way to get those and would like them back. Thanksin advance

  30. james clarkson says:

I go to the bk in mt Vernon they never get the order correct like my last order I was short a whopper telling them does not help!!

    1. Bryce Spaghetti says:

Stop complaining and ask for them to fix it. Standard policy is for them to fix your order for free if you have the receipt and haven’t eaten the food already… they’ll remake the whole thing…

  31. Michele Altomari says:

I have seen commercials 10 chicken nuggets for 1.49 when i look at the menu online i don’t see that.what i see is 10 nuggets for 3.49 So if i were to come in what would they charge me 3.49 or 1.49 you should list your specials on line as well.

  32. Pale lettuce, tomato ends, lukewarm burger……yeah these are what people want out of a burger.

  33. I haven’t really taste BK but my friends tells me its a good place. I’ll try it soon ig

  34. It is really sad that 2 cinnamon buns, small hash brown and a value sweet tea cost more then a sausage egg and cheese combo. My son has been going to Burger King every Monday through Friday for eight years. They have had numerous change over through the years and all of them have respected on making the price reasonable treating it like a combo. With that loyalty the NEW MANAGERS (change over again) have said NO on any type of special. Time to take our business to someone who cares. Really sad that they do not believe in loyal customers who has McDonalds and Dunkin Doughnuts within the same distance.

  35. KELLY HUPTON says:

I LOVE BURGER KING! I THINK THAT THIS FAST FOOD PLACE IS A NICE FAST FOOD PLACE FOR ALL TO EAT AT. I THINK THAT THE PRICES ARE NOT OUTRAGEOUS.

    1. Desiree Tiapula says:

The Burger King prices are NOT outrageous. I would love it should they keep the price of the food as it is today. 12/2/15 I have always loves BK from the beginning and even if the prices do change, I will always be a Burger King Fan. I have 1 just 3 blocks from the nursing home I live at. I may be 60 yrs. old, but I love me some BURGER KING !!!

  36. KELLY HUPTON says:

PLEASE RESPOND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, IF YOU CAN!

  37. Larry Strickland says:

Tina you had better think twice about going to McDonalds and Dunking Donuts are high priced and McDonalds are losing costumer due to poor quality and high prices.

I word to the wise is sufficient.

  38. It is my belief that BK has the best overall quality, selection, and prices among the 5 major fast food joints (Mcdonalds, Wendy’s, Arby’s, Taco Bell).

  39. Gregory Smith says:

can u add the fully loaded Croissan’wich thanks

  40. Gregory Smith says:

    can u add the following
    1. Fully loaded Croissan’wich
    2. extra long pulled pork sandwich
    3. A1 Hearty Mozzrella Burger
    4. BBQ Bacon Tendercrisp Sandwich
5-7 King Croissan’wich (sausage and Bacon / Ham and Sausage / Double Sausage)
    8 Frozen Lemonade
    9 Orange Freeze

    thank you!

  41. I think the flavor of the burgers closely rivals my gas grill. The larger fries are better than McDonalds, and stay hotter longer. Around here, restaurants charge $10 for their 1/4-1/3 pound burgers, but at BK you can add a patty to the whopper and have just as good a solution for under $6. I just wish they’d allow a substitution of a side salad for the fries, but as was stated above, sorry, no specials.

  42. Desiree Tiapula says:

Here in Jacksonville Florida, they have specials at a very great price, but I believe that they update every time they go on TV with a great deal. And that usually year round on special date set on the calendar.

  43. Gregory Smith says:

can u add the Grilled Dogs and the Supreme Breakfast Sandwich thank you

  44. does BK offer free coffee to seniors?

    1. no, at least the one that i currently work at does not. they do offer a senior sized coffee and i believe that it is like 60 or 70 cents

  45. Fast food is not cheap anymore! 10.00 bucks for a meal is not cheap! I can get a better, hot meal at my local supermarket for 5.00 and even share with somebody ,it is that big.

  46. Matt Brooks says:

The girl in the window was awesome perfect customer service she sure knew how to make me smile which I needed that today thank you whitney

  47. Cathy Campbell says:

I ordered a small fry today assuming it was the value fry size/price and to my surprise it isn’t the same. It was $.45 more than the small fry. I typically eat at McD’s and the small fry is the value fry, no special wording needed. Not to mention I ordered a vanilla shake and got a chocolate one.

  48. They are still running commercials about the Deals for more of a fair price on their food which can compete with Mcdonalds. However if I go to Burger King Today and they tell me “Sorry, we aren’t running that Deal” I and many others will refuse to give Burger King money. Your food is overpriced! You can’t even compete with your competitor properly! So you better be still running the Deal that I just seen on the Commercial. Your Food when not on sale is overpriced! Sincerely, A Disgruntled Customer

    1. Gluten: es un tipo de fibra soluble de hierro en la piel y que no te lo puedes perder de la muerte y que te hace

  49. BURGER KING AND MCDONALD’S ARE BOTH HIDING THEIR DOLLAR VALUE MENUS!!!!!!!
The way that burger king hides it is by listing the cheap items online, but omitting them from the menu when you order. They do this to increase sales. The average person will only order what they see. Burger King Mgr confirmed this when I addressed it yesterday. She was so ashamed. She did however say that it’s the owner doing it and that it’s an individual owner (no franchised).
McDonal’d does it a different way. Their fancy screens change and change and change but IF you address the fact that it is not showing the dollar menu, then they lay crazy an say “oh it must be broken” then quickly offer to take your order.
GO ONLINE FIRST AN LOOK AT THE MENU FOR ANY RESTAURANT THAT YOU VISIT FOR THE FULL MENU AND PRICES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  50. BK is cheaper unless you want to by a meal or expensive sandwich/burger

  51. JDnHuntsvilleAL says:

So where is the price of the Impossible Whopper

  52. I hope the prices is right for Indiana…

  53. Kimberly A Reyes says:

The food tastes much better than McDonald’s! The BK that I frequent is always clean and the food is hot and fresh. The prices are much lower than McDonald’s or Wendy’s! Flame broiled burgers are the best!

  54. Kenneth Copher says:

the prices of everything today are expensive period .the rich wont complain .!!

  56. Lynn Debra Claflin says:

We went to B K yesterday, our meal including 2 cookies went up in price we usually pay $21. & change, they wanted $25. & change… WTH? We said nope, drove away. Went to a Mom and Pop restaurant and got a meal for us for $13. Glad to help out our local Mom and Pop restaurant. I don’t need BK, they need people like me. See Ya BK!

  57. Joshua Norton II says:

I have no complaint with the food. The BK app is another thing altogether. It worked the first few times, and that was it. Either it would read “this does not seem to be a valid e-mail, or I would make it all the way thru, only to see the message, “Ooops! Looks like we encountered an error.” This will impact the number of visits I make there.

  58. salterfranc says:

I drove all the way to BK to get the $20 ultimate bundle but to my surprise when i got over there their website on the app wont respond and when it finally came up , the coupon was lost. can you imagine the frustration. they are so pricey and their app is always a mess

  59. Greg Baker says:

I hope that prices of your products are a reasonable price or I’love be giving my business to the McDonald restraunt on Albert Pike and they’ll continue to receiv my business in the future! Your prices are the determining factor regarding who’ll be getting my business in the future! Your prices are what determines where I’ll be doing my business in the future! 3.25 x 1.125 your product price times the local tax rate rate= $3.66

  60. Douglass Huseman says:

I was looking at your menu and I didn’t see the Bacon King sandwich. Are they no longer selling this item? If they are, how much are they in Kansas?

  65. Hi,
In MA and a small Whopper jr meal (no cheese) is $6.69,
A small Whopper meal (no cheese) is $8.25,
And a small double Whopper meal (no cheese) is $10.25

  66. Where I am in MA a single Whopper, by itself, no cheese, is $5.89

  67. Our BKs (Findlay OH) are always more expensive than prices say online

  68. BRING BACK THE TACO I LOVED THEM and KEEP THEM FOREVER

  69. Well here’s to your online success Erin – thanks for the positive vibes!!! 🙂

  70. Price of a bacon burger is almost twice the price of a bacon cheeseburger at the Burger King in Orange, VA.

Why? No cheese on the burger should be less money, not almost twice the price.

  71. Maria Parker says:

Didn’t see your mozzarella cheese sticks. How much are they

  72. I tend to believe all the fast food places are jacking up prices just because they can and are playing off the whole covid deal as the excuse. It’s not like you’re getting 100% high grade beef on burgers and seems to me whatever cows that were being bred for meat sales are still the same ones as ever. Farmers are still growing and delivering potatoes, chickens and everything else. Yeah, we had a toilet paper shortage because all the people with money ran out and bought it up to make sure they got their butts wiped and didn’t care other people would have to get creative. Same with meats and such, anyone with money was busying everything out and in them doing so it made it appear there was a shortage when there isn’t, because as we saw after covid calmed down and the wealthy saw they weren’t going to die without all the shelves were restocked and we clearly see no shortage of anything. What we see is higher prices. It’s the all american scam. Watch how fast prices drop when we all stop buying at those high dollar prices.

  73. Every time I go to BurgerKing I Get all my food fresh and it only takes a 20 out of a wallet and I get what i wanted Its so worth it 5 star rating 5/5
