Times were simpler back in 2015, the year the Papa John’s Cheeseburger Pizza was originally released. After years of fans longing for the indulgent pie, the pizza chain has decided to resurrect it – just in time to save 2020. In addition to the Cheeseburger Pizza, Papa John’s will also be rolling out a brand new menu item, paying tribute to the 2015 fan-favorite. The Cheeseburger Papadia and pizza will be available for a limited time starting October 26 (and even earlier if you’re a rewards member!).
Both the Cheeseburger Pizza and Papadia are made with ground beef, cheese, pickles, burger sauce, and of course, Papa John’s signature dough. Customers can snag the pizza for just round $12 and the Papadia for $6, depending on your location.
For customers who are a part of Papa John’s Rewards program, the new cheeseburger-inspired menu items will be available a week sooner – starting October 19. For everyone else, both options will be available until December 27 of this year, so don’t forget to order in one of these nights soon.
Tom Smith, Papa John’s director of culinary innovation stated, “Our Double Cheeseburger Pizza is a limited-time product we first introduced five years ago and has inspired a big fan following. Now, Americans who love cheeseburgers can enjoy the flavors they crave both in our popular pizza, as well as a Papadia version.” He continued, “The new Double Cheeseburger Papadia tastes like a cheeseburger wrapped in Papa John’s signature pizza dough. We’re confident that we can satisfy even the most discerning cheeseburger lover.”
