At the beginning of the new year, many people made resolutions to better themselves. Some even go as far as making changes to their physical appearance to rebrand their image. It turns out that there’s a fast-food chain that has also decided to rebrand their image for the new year. Burger King has announced a completely revamped visual design, which includes a change to its iconic logo.
This is the first time in over 20 years that Burger King has rebranded its image. These changes were made to reflect Burger King’s recent improvements to the quality and taste of their food by removing of colors, flavors, and preservatives from artificial sources from menu items. Burger King’s revamped design includes changes the following:
- Restaurant merchandise
- Menu boards
- Crew uniforms
- Restaurant signage and décor
- Social media
Raphael Abreu, Restaurant Brands International Head of Design said in a press release, “Design is one of the most essential tools we have for communicating who we are and what we value, and it plays a vital role in creating desire for our food and maximizing guests’ experience,” He added. “We wanted to use design to get people to crave our food; its flame-grilling perfection and above all, its taste.”
The new Burger King’s logo has a more modern look while staying true to the original design. We can definitely get used to it. Burger King’s new packaging does not only features the new logo but spots new bold colors and illustrations of ingredients. Burger King’s crew member uniforms will also be feature new colors, and graphics.
