Cookout was founded in 1989 in Greensboro, North Carolina, by Morris Reaves, who is still the owner of the company. Currently, the restaurant has over 150 locations in 7 states. Most Cookout locations have a double drive-thru as well as outdoor seating.

Cookout prices are fairly average and you can get a nice meal for around $5, which includes the main entree, 2 sides and a drink.

    The BBQ sandwich there has no business being called barbecue. I’m not even sure what type of meat is in it. Then there’s the coleslaw. Good God, how can you mess up coleslaw? Stick with hamburgers. Please
