El Pollo Loco Unveils New Paleo and Keto Pollo Fit Bowls

If you love fast food but your New Year’s resolution is to eat healthier, you’re in luck. El Pollo Loco just added three new Pollo Fit Bowls to the menu, making clean eating in 2020 easier than ever. These new menu items were added to El Pollo Loco’s already-exisiting line of Fire-Grilled Chicken Bowls with the intention of giving customers cleaner, diet-friendly options. Plus, two of the bowls contain keto-friendly ingredients, while the third is paleo-friendly. The keto-certified bowls are the Double Chicken & Avocado and the Double Chicken & Queso Fresco, while the Double Chicken & Mango bowl is paleo-certified.

So, what’s in these healthy fast food meals?

El Pollo LocoThe Double Chicken & Avocado Pollo Fit Bowl contains lettuce, organic spinach, shredded red cabbage, carrots, avocado, pico de gallo, and chicken breast with a cilantro dressing. The bowl has a total of 510 calories, 41 grams of protein, 120mg of sodium, and 5 grams of sugar.

The Double Chicken & Queso Fresco is loaded with lettuce, organic spinach, black beans, pico de gallo, chicken breast, cheese, and cilantro dressing. This Fit Bowl contains 480 calories, 43 grams of protein, 1320 mg of sodium, and 4 grams of sugar.

And lastly, the paleo Double Chicken & Mango bowl has lettuce, organic spinach, mango salsa, avocado, chicken breast, and cilantro dressing. The bowl’s nutrition includes 460 calories, 37 grams of protein, 1220 mg of sodium, and 14 grams of sugar.

You can order Pollo Fit Bowls at any El Pollo Loco restaurant, but these menu items are only available for a limited time. The other Fire-Grilled Chicken Bowls on the El Pollo Loco menu include the Original Pollo, Grande Avocado Chicken, Double Chicken, and Chicken Black Bean.
