Does a Burger King Dollar Menu Exist?

When it comes to fast food, sometimes we want the cheapest option available. We went over the McDonald’s dollar menu recently, but I was asked to do an article about the Burger King dollar menu as well.

My first question was whether such a thing exists anywhere. Unlike McDonald’s, Burger King prices generally tend to vary more based on location so I knew there was a possibility of finding a dollar menu for BK. The problem is that Burger King does not advertise a “dollar menu” anywhere.

About the Burger King Dollar Menu

Although Burger King dollar menu is not advertised, BK does have some items that are only one dollar. Let’s go over them so we can see how they compare to items on the McDonald’s dollar menu.

BK Bacon Burger

As shown on the Burger King value menu article we published recently, the BK Bacon Burger is a small burger that has a lot of flavor. It is made of a beef-patty, thick-cut bacon, mayo, ketchup, and sliced onions inside a toasted sesame seed bun.

The BK Bacon Burger is only 320 calories, which is pretty normal for a burger of its size. Not bad for one dollar, eh?

Chick’n CrispBurger King Value Menu

Another item on Burger King’s dollar menu is the chicken sandwich, Chick’n Crisp. It comes in the original and spicy variation. The original one has mayo as a condiment while the spicy version has a secret spicy sauce instead.

The Chick’n Crisp is a fried chicken sandwich, so it is a little higher in calories, at 470. The sandwich tastes great though and the feel of only spending $1 is even better!

Soft Serve – Cup or Cone

The last item on the Burger King’s dollar menu is the soft serve ice cream. It comes in your choice of a cup or cone. The soft serve ice cream is tasty as you would expect, and at only a dollar, a great financial choice for when you need a sweet treat.

The soft serve ice cream is 160 calories, so it’s perfect for when you are on a limited budget. Eat one and don’t go too crazy on them even though it can be very hard to resist due to its spectacular vanilla flavor.

More Options

So after those three items, you’re probably wondering if there are more. Although there aren’t really any other dollar items on the menu, you can find many of them for a little more, such as $1.39.

View the Burger King value menu to see all items offered such as the BK stacker, double cheeseburger, French fries, onion rings, side salad, chicken nuggets, apple slices or sundaes. Chances are if you can afford a one-dollar burger, you can probably find an extra quarter or two to spend a little more.

Even though the Burger King dollar menu seems very small, it is not non-existent as some think. While it clearly can’t be compared to the relatively big McDonald’s dollar menu, it still includes a beef burger, a chicken sandwich, and a sweet treat which should satisfy almost every craving you might have at any time.

Conclusion

As you have just read, the Burger King dollar menu is composed of three items: the BK Bacon Burger, Chick’n Crisp sandwich, and soft serve ice cream.  So whether you want beef, chicken, or sugar, BK has what you need.

It is very unfair to compare the Burger King dollar menu to that of the McDonald’s just because the McDonald’s one is so much larger and offers much more variety.  Due to that fact, we’ll say that the BK value menu gives the McDonald’s dollar menu a run for its money despite having slightly higher priced food items.

What do you think of the Burger King’s limited dollar menu or their value menu? When you only have a couple of dollars, would you rather go to Burger King or McDonald’s? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Everyone knows that bk is at least 1000 times better than cringy McDonald’s. There is a reason why McDonald’s has sooo many items on the dollar menu. (Cause their food is cringey and gross. Burger King actually offers quality with their food, unlike the crap at McDonald’s.)

Not where I live; none of the fast food places do except Taco Bell. Every other place jacked their dollar items up to $1.39-$1.49 and do sales like 2 for $3 or 2 for $5. Mc Donalds does a $1, $2 and $3 menu
