Wendy’s vs. Arby’s

Wendy’s and Arby’s are very similar in nature that it is hard to tell the difference between the two fast food chains. Both of them have more than 10 different sandwiches or burgers to chose from. Some argue that Arby’s is not as expensive as Wendy’s and by studying the different menus from various cities, we have found that they are right.

Arby’s has an attractive $1 menu with tons of items on it, while Wendy’s has many gourmet sandwiches to pick from. Also, Wendy’s releases more new meals to the menu every few months and this is why people may have a hard time deciding on where to go.

Wendy’s prices may be higher than Arby’s but all of their meals have a lot of extras in them. You’ll even notices that most of the sandwiches and burgers are stuffed to the max, giving you more to enjoy. For example, they have a double with cheese for $4.99 which includes two pieces of meat, onions, tomatoes, extra cheese, and lettuce. The new club chicken is one of our favorites and includes lettuce, Swiss cheese, chicken, tomatoes, and some onion for $5.49. For those of you who love eating fish, you can opt for their $4.99 fish filet sandwich. It comes with or without ranch sauce so be sure to inquire about it. They also have other items like a bowl of chili, succulent baked potato with sour cream, Double Stack, and a cold frosty.

Arby’s prices come in first vs. Wendy’s. At Arbys, the average family will spend about $10 less than they would if going to Wendy’s. They also have more to offer on their dollar menu as well. Their $1 menu includes fries, the Jr. Chicken sandwich, Jr. Ham Cheddar melt, Value Shake, Value fries, and the Apple or Cherry turnover for breakfast.

Arby’s is also known for their $5.00 combos which includes different types of sandwiches and burgers. People most come to Arby’s because they want to get their favorite sandwich or try something new for a change. You can try the Roasted Beef, Patty Melt, Roast Chicken Ranch, and Roast Beef Gyro. Be sure to ask for some ranch or ketchup sauce to go with one of your meals.

TLDR:

  • Arby’s USP (Unique Selling Point): it’s all in their tagline: “We Have The Meats”. They emphasize their wide variety of meat-based offerings, from turkey and chicken to brisket and corned beef.
  • Menu Variety: sliders, wraps, salads, and unique limited-time offerings.
  • Taste: Arby’s sandwiches offer a distinct taste, especially when complemented with their signature sauces. The meats are flavorful, and the variety caters to different taste profiles – from the smokiness of brisket to the peppery bite of roast beef.
  • Pricing: Arby’s might be slightly pricier than many fast-food chains, but they often justify this with their quality and variety of meats.

Arby’s menu prices are affordable for just about anyone these days. With the prices they offer, we wonder how they even make a profit? If you love beef or turkey, they have plenty of that here. Although Arby’s doesn’t have a lot of dessert items or breakfast items, you’ll still be thankful for their wide selection in sandwiches. Most sandwich lovers come here because they have a huge variety to chose from. People will stare at the menu for five or even ten minutes before deciding what to get. Yeah, really! The selection is that big! For example, here are some of the sandwiches menu prices if you want to get an idea of just how much they offer.

They also have a kids meal for those of you who are bringing the whole family along. Usually the meal includes a regular cheese sandwich, apples, and milk for just $5.00. If your child doesn’t like apples, you can always substitute it for fries but it’s a good idea to encourage them to eat fruit too. Most of the kid’s meals come with a cute toy to play with and this way you can keep your little one occupied while you eat.

Conclusion

Both Wendy’s and Arby’s have their following in the fast-food industry, and it would be highly subjective to pick a winner.

If you like fresh beef burgers and value diverse menu that includes breakfast and classic dessert options, then Wendy’s might be your top pick.

If you like a wide variety of meat sandwiches with unique flavor profiles, then Arby’s takes the lead

In terms of pricing, while both offer value options, Wendy’s wins in terms of affordability.

But when it comes to meat variety and distinctiveness, Arby’s stands out.

Ultimately, the winner depends on your personal preferences, tastes and cravings.
