Taco Bell tacos are among the best drive-through fast food items. Fresh veggies, crunchy shells, and meat with their special seasoning is almost addictive. But now you can skip the drive-through and make your own taco meat from home with this Taco Bell Seasoning recipe. It’s enough for cooking one pound of ground beef, which can be used for tacos, burritos, nachos, or any of your favorite Taco Bell recipes. Simply break the beef up into small pieces and place it in a skillet. Sprinkle the seasoning over the top, and use a spatula to continue breaking the beef and spreading the seasoning throughout. Make sure the beef is browned and cooked thoroughly on medium-high heat. If you want that Taco Bell taste without the meat, you can also use this seasoning on grilled vegetables or Mexican rice. Not exactly the same, but the flavors would be similar.
You might wonder why you’d want to make your own seasoning mix when Taco Bell sells theirs in 1-oz packets. But our recipe doesn’t have any artificial flavorings or colorings, and it’s so easy to make, why not? Plus, you can make extra and store it for the Taco Bell Tacos you’ll want to make for the next few Taco Tuesdays.
