Flying Saucers 6 Pack $7.99

Carvel was founded in 1929 by Tom Carvel. It was initially started as an ice cream truck business, but when one of the truck’s had a flat tire in 1934, Carvel decided to start selling the ice cream on the spot. Thus he figured he could also have fixed locations to sell his ice cream.

Today, there are hundreds of Carvel retail stores and it is available in thousands of supermarkets. Although there are many competitors, Carvel prices are very fair for the quality of the ice cream.

I just spent 11.99 for a 6 pack of Flying Saucers at the Carvel in Tano Mall, Edison, NJ. I would like to know why since your own site says the price is 7.99? I am very upset that I was over charged and even asked them what the cost was (I was going to buy 2 packages) I didn’t see the price posted in the store either.

    1. Actually says $9.91 so maybe tax?

  2. herbert fellows says:

$8.95 for 2 sundaes on Wednesday bogo.

Price listed on websites is $4.94 for a sundae, therefore price should have been 4.94, not 8.95. The website pricing is a joke, not even close.

Does Carvel still sell the brown bonnet?

  4. Did Carvel shakes get smaller?
