Bahama Bucks was founded in 1990 in Lubbock, Texas, by Blake Buchanan. Before opening his first store, Blake was selling snowcones on the campus of Texas Tech University while attending there. Today, there are over 30 stores across several US states with many more locations in the works.
The shop offers over 90 flavors of snowcones categorized as Buck’s Original, Thin Ice, and Super Sour flavors. Bahama Bucks prices can be anywhere from $3 to $7 or so depending on whether you’re getting snowcones, smoothies, sodas, or other specialty items. They also have party packs that can be as much as $50.
