How Good is Arby’s Value Menu?

In this article, we will explore the Arby’s value menu. Arby’s, like other fast food restaurants, has a pretty good value menu that offers many options to its customers.

We have recently written about Burger King’s value menu and we heard that some people wanted to see a good review of the Arby’s value menu as well.

So let’s see what it is all about.

Jr. Roast Beef – $1.19

Arby's value menuThe Jr. Roast Beef sandwich from Arby’s is almost the same as their regular Roast Beef sandwich except it is slightly smaller in size. It is made up of thinly sliced oven-roasted beef in a sesame seed bun.

While most other burgers of this size will be upwards of 300 calories, not this one! The Jr. Roast Beef is only 210 calories with only 8 grams of fat and generous 13 grams of protein.

This is one of the best sandwiches at this price when you consider the price, quality, and nutrition. The taste can be a little bland, but asking to have everything at this price would not be fair.

Jr. Cheddar Melt – $1.49

The Jr. Cheddar Melt is a sandwich composed of oven-roasted ham on a sesame seed bun topped with creamy cheddar cheese. If that doesn’t sound delicious, nothing will.

Arby’s once again comes through in the nutritional area. This sandwich is only 210 calories, which rivals the Jr. Roast Beef sandwich. At $1.49, it is difficult to beat.

Jr. Chicken – $1.49

The Jr. Chicken sandwich is almost identical to the McDonald’s McChicken sandwich. It is made of an all-white meat chicken patty, a leaf of lettuce, mayonnaise, and toasted sesame seed bun.

At 310 calories, it beats McChicken by 50 calories! Although Arby’s isn’t known as a super nutritional fast food restaurant, you can definitely see they try to offer foods with as few calories as possible.

Jr. Deluxe – $1.39

Jr. Deluxe is similar to the Jr. Roast Beef sandwich except that it has tomatoes, lettuce and mayonnaise. Including these additional ingredients increases the taste substantially, but it also adds another 60 calories.

Still, at only $1.39, it is an excellent meal and a great value.

Value French Fries – $1.09

Almost every fast food restaurant offers value fries at a price close to a dollar, but not all of them offer curly fries at that price. The curly fries from Arby’s are some of the best in the industry.

The value French fries are 240 calories, which is expected for fries that are deep-fried.

Apple Slices – $1.39

Although most people feel like Apple Slices aren’t worth mentioning, we beg to differ. Apple Slices are an inexpensive and healthy alternative to the traditional fast food sides.

The Apple Slices from Arby’s are only 35 calories. They’re fresh and crispy, and at only a $1.39, a great healthy snack.

Value Drink – $1.09

We always say if you’re buying a soft drink at a fast food restaurant, you should go for the value size because it is big enough, yet it’s not overloaded with calories.

Arby’s gives you a choice from any of Pepsi products and the value size will run you about 130 calories.

Value Jamocha Shake – $1.09

If you need something sweet and do not have much money, try the Jamocha shake. It is thick, creamy, and loaded with sugar.

The value Jamocha shake is a whopping 350 calories with 49 grams of sugar. It is obviously pretty high in calories so if you’re skipping a meal and decide to go for the shake, we won’t give you too much of a hard time for it.

Conclusion

You have just read about the Arby’s value menu. Considering the fact that Arby’s is substantially smaller than other fast food restaurants such as McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s, it certainly gives these other restaurants a run for their money when it comes to offering a value menu.

Arby’s value menu offers many delicious choices, some of which are very nutritional and low in calories for their size.

  1. I rarely every go to Arby’s anymore. There value meal just doesn’t seem to offer a wide choice like others do. They do however have a limited menu I think compared to others but then again Roast Beef is there middle name.
