To make the strawberry syrup, first wash and hull your strawberries. Cut them into quarters, and place them into a pot with 32 ounces of water. Bring the pot to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes.
After the liquid has simmered, strain it, and discard the strawberries. Add the sugar to the liquid, and cook for an additional 5 minutes, skimming off any impurities on the top of the syrup as you go. Pour the syrup into a container, and allow it to cool.
To make a Strawberry Limeade serving, fill a glass with ice, add 1/4 cup strawberry syrup with 1 cup of Sprite, and stir well. Add a lime wedge, a stem of mint, and a strawberry if desired.
