Taco Bell Discontinues 7 Layer Burrito and 11 More Menu Items

Get ready to say goodbye to some of your favorites at Taco Bell. After a long reign on the menu, the fast food chain has decided to discontinue several items, including the 7-Layer Burrito, Quesarito, Grilled Steak Soft Taco, Spicy Tostada, Triple Layer Nachos, Nachos Supreme, Beefy Fritos Burrito, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Loaded Grillers, Chips & Dips, and the Mini Skillet Bowl. However, all hope is not lost because there are a couple of new menu items on the horizon!

Taco Bell MenuIn the near future, you should expect to see the The $5 Grande Nachos Box and the $1 Beef Burrito hit the menu at your local Taco Bell. The nachos box comes with tortilla chips topped with either seasoned beef or shredded chicken, beans, a 3-cheese blend, nacho cheese sauce, reduced fat sour cream, pico de gallo, and guacamole. You’ll also get a medium beverage as a part of the combo. And if you recognize the $5 box – it’s because it used to be on the menu last year around the same time.

Many customers have expressed disappointment for the major changes to the menu, but Taco Bell claims to have better things in store for the future. According to the website, “While change is hard, a simplified menu and innovation process will leave room for new fan favorites, continued progress in categories such as plant-based diets, and even opportunities for the return of some classics on a limited-time basis.”
