It’s not even September yet, and Starbucks is already pouring the all-time favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte. Famous for being the “basic fall drink,” the PSL is by far the most renowned beverage that has ever been on the menu, and this year is the earliest it has ever been released (last year it was August 27). But is anyone surprised at its premature return? We think not. If you ask us, the Pumpkin Spice Latte arriving in late August is just what the world needs right now.
The PSL is a comforting, indulgent latte that can be ordered hot, iced, or blended. Coffee fanatics can also enjoy the pumpkin flavor in a cold brew, a drink that was first introduced on the Starbucks menu last year. The Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew is a blend of the coffee shop’s popular cold brew with pumpkin cream cold foam, topped with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
If that’s not enough pumpkin for you, Starbucks also just announced the release of their pumpkin scone and pumpkin cream cheese muffin. Everyone complains about fall not lasting long enough, so here’s your chance to take it all in just a bit early.
Starbucks may be the first to bring back their PSL, but we know they won’t be the last. We’ll be posting updates as other restaurants embrace the fall season, so be sure to check back with us soon.
