If you are on the go, pretty early in the morning and dont have time to grab breakfast before you leave home, you might be tempted to pick a coffee or a beverage of your choice at your local Starbucks to get you going. As you may have heard, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and you should consider getting something to eat so that you can start your day off right. Thankfully Starbucks has plenty of options. Starbucks has introduced its new mushroom, kale, and cheese flavored egg bites for those looking for a veggie option.
Starbucks’ new Egg Bites features kale and portabella mushroom, folded into eggs and Monterey Jack cheese. Its the cooked using the sous-vide technique. If you are not familiar with the sous-vide technique, sous-vide means “under vacuum” in French. It is a culinary technique that originated from France, where vacuum-sealed food is immersed in water and cooked at a precise temperature. Chef Bruno Bertin from Cuisine Solutions stated, “The Sous-Vide technique is ideal for cooking as it uses water, which is the best transmitter of heat, while also maintaining the integrity of the product being cooked,”
The sous-vide technique allows Starbucks’ new Kale & Portabella mushroom egg bites to have the perfect texture. The new kale and portabella mushroom flavors join Starbucks’ existing egg bite flavors, including; Ham, Cheddar & Pepper, Bacon & Gruyére, and Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper.
If you are looking for something sweet to accompany your Kale and Portabella Mushroom Egg Bite, there are plenty of options available on the Starbucks menu.
