Sonic is helping us get in the spirit of warmer weather with two new ice cream treats, the Reese’s Overload Blast and Waffle Cone. The Reese’s Overload Blast is essentially a thick shake made with a base of ice cream. Mixed in with the ice cream are Reese’s Pieces, Reese’s cups, and peanut. Overload? We think not. As for the Reese’s Overload Waffle Cone, customers can expect a chocolate waffle cone, filled with peanut butter, ice cream, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and Mini Reese’s Pieces.
These Reese’s treats will be on the Sonic menu from now until May 3, which gives you plenty of time to try both of them (at least once).
Per a press release, Scott Uehlein, Vice President of Product Innovation and Development for SONIC said, “The ultimate combination of our 100% Real Ice Cream and three delectable forms of chocolate and peanut butter – Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Mini Reese’s Pieces candy and even more layers of peanut butter – gives fans even more of their favorite indulgent flavors.” He continued, “These fully-loaded treats certainly live up to their Reese’s Overload name and prove you can never have too much of a good thing.”
