It feels like COVID-19 have been with us forever. It has changed our lives in many ways, and this is very apparent in the restaurant industry. While I do miss dining out with friends and family, there are changes that I am thrilled to welcome, and this is one of them. Chick-fil-A has launched online ordering so that you can skip the drive-thru wait.
Chick-fil-A announced that it had expanded online ordering nationwide so that customers across the country can place an order from the Chick-fil-A website. This comes after Chick-fil-A successfully conducted a test over the summer in the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore areas.
Place an order is simple. Customers must first choose a Chick-fil-A closest to their location, select how they want to receive their food – either drive-thru, curbside, or carry-out, then place the order and pay online before arriving at the restaurant.
Customers can also use Chick-fil-A’s mobile app to place orders as well.
Emily Thomson, a member of Chick-fil-A’s customer digital experience team, said in a statement, “The ability to order online from Chick-fil-A’s full menu is one more way for us to show care to our customers by making the ordering process as seamless as possible,” She continued, “Traditionally, Customers have only been able to order catering on chick-fil-a.com,” She later added, “Online ordering now changes the game by providing the full menu for everyday purchases.”
This move from Chick-fil-A saves its customers time and the hassle of waiting in long lines before you can enjoy your meal. We hope to see many more restaurants follow suit.
One of the menu items you may consider ordering online is Chick-Fil-A’s Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap. Before you do, check out our review.
