All pizza chains are not made equal. You’ve got your go-to delivery joints – the ones you can rely on to serve you a greasy pepperoni just the way you like it every time. Then you’ve got the craft pizza places with artisan options and toppings you’ve never even heard of. So, what kind of pizza comes out on top? It all depends on what you’re craving, but we’ve done all the heavy lifting for you with this ultimate list of fast food pizza reviews.

And while we all love a classic pepperoni, sausage, or cheese, but what’s the fun in rating those? We’re letting you in on our favorite specialty pizzas from every major fast food pizza place, and if we left one out, you have full permission to tell us.

You may know Blaze Pizza for its association with Lebron James, but there’s a lot more to the new franchise than its superstar investor. Blaze’s pizzas are fast fire’d and completely customizable with nearly 30 toppings, eight cheeses, and nine finishes. You can build your own pie or order one of their specialties, like the Meat Eater or BBQ Chckn. If you like the taste of a supreme pizza, you’ll love our top choice, the Hot Link. It’s topped with Italian sausage, banana peppers, jalapeños, black olives, red onions, mozzarella, and spicy red sauce, and you can order your own 11-inch personal pizza or a large to share with a group. Pair that with a classic side of Dough Knots with fresh Mozzarella cheese and Garlic Pesto, and you’ll never want to a pizza from anywhere else again.

Our top choice: Hot Link

Best side: Dough Knots (with Mozzarella and Garlic Pesto)

Pizza Hut

Pizza HutIf you’re craving a classic greasy pizza, Pizza Hut will always be a no-fail option. And now that they’ve perfected the art of wings (both boneless and traditional), too, The Hut is a one-stop shop for your next take-out night. While you can build your own masterpiece, we recommend going all out with their timeless Supreme pizza, topped with all the fixings – pepperoni, seasoned pork, beef, mushrooms, green bell peppers and red onions. Top it off with a side of your favorite wings, and you’ll be eating leftovers for days.

Our top choice: Supreme

Best side: Wings

Domino's Pie PassDomino’s is another cult favorite and is one of the best pizza places to grab a quick dinner that’s sure to please everyone. While you can go all out with toppings if you want, we’re into one of their classics, the Ultimate Pepperoni. As the name suggests, this pie doesn’t skimp on the pepperoni. This classic pairs well with any of Domino’s sides, but we particularly love it with the Stuffed Cheesy Bread. Bonus: There are always Domino’s coupons floating around online.

Our top choice: Ultimate Pepperoni

Best side: Stuffed Cheesy Bread

Papa John’s

Papa John'sPapa John’s has boasted “better ingredients, better pizza” since the beginning, but does their slogan ring true? The franchise has always been a decent place to grab a pizza on the go, but over the years, the corporation has worked to improve their recipes and their culture. And with such stiff competition, it can be tough for a cheese and pepperoni to stick out these days. But Papa John’s is always releasing new, creative pies like their Extra Cheesy Alfredo with Garlic Parmesan Crust. It’s indulgent, delicious and yes – cheesier than ever.

Our top choice: Extra Cheesy Alfredo with Garlic Parmesan Crust

Best side: Garlic Knots

Mod PizzaMOD falls into the artisan-style category, serving craft pizzas with more than 30 topping choices. Similar to Blaze Pizza, MOD offers 11-inch personal sized pies, either regular or thick crust, as well as mini 6-inch pies if you’re looking for a lighter meal. If you’re gluten free, there’s a specialty crust for you, and if you’re a low-carb eater, there’s a delicious cauliflower option. Our go-to is the Caspian, a unique take on the BBQ chicken pizza,  including mozzarella, gorgonzola, bbq chicken, barbecue sauce, sliced red onions

Our top choice: Caspian

Best side: Garlic Strips

&Pizza&Pizza is a small franchise located primarily on the east coast in places like Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, Florida, and Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, and New York. They’re highly recognized for their unique, oblong-shaped pizzas that are the perfect size for an individual. Their trendy artisan flavors range from the White, a tomato-free pie with parm-romano sauce, fresh mozzarella, special T sauce, truffle ranch, and black pepper to the Maverick, a craft buffalo ranch pizza. We love the unique American Honey speciality pizza with spicy tomato, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, arugula, goat cheese, hot honey, and red pepper flakes.

Our top choice: American Honey

Best side: Garlic Knots

Marco's PizzaIn a world full of Pizza Huts and Papa John’s, Marco’s stands out, which is not an easy feat. For one, the flavor or their crust and pizza sauce is distinct. It tastes authentic and fresh – a challenge many large pizza corporations don’t live up to. Whether you’re feeling a classic pepperoni, a specialty pie, a sub, or a salad, Marco’s has affordable options across the board. Our recommendation for newbies is always the All Meat pizza, topped with pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, bacon, original sauce, and three different cheeses. Oh, and their CheezyBread – it’s to die for.

Our top choice: All Meat

Best side: CheezyBread

Little Caesars

Little Caesars PizzaLittle Caesars is known for its “Hot ‘N Ready” pizzas that are cheap and always available. And although they still serve those piping hot pies at all times, they’ve expanded their reach and now offer delivery, drive through and pickup windows, and pizza portals (no-contact pickup). Little Caesars has its fair share of classic pizzas, but they’ve also got deep dish and ExtraMostestBestest pizzas, specialty pies with loads of toppings. Our fav is the Five Meat Feast mad with bacon, sausage, ham, pepperoni, and beef.

Our top choice: Five Meat Feast

Best side: Italian Cheesy Bread

CiCi's PizzaBuffets can feel like a thing of the past, but Cici’s Pizza is known for them! Okay, maybe not in the middle of the current pandemic, but once things normalize in the food industry, we can’t wait to load our plate with pizza, pasta, salad, and dessert from Cici’s. For now, we’ll have to opt for takeout or delivery, which is fine with us because the franchise is always running deals and offering new coupons. Cici’s has classic options of course, but they serve up fun and unique pies, too, like the Zesty Ham & Cheddar and the Alfredo pizza. We particularly love the Pepperoni & Jalepeño,  with its garlic butter crust, tomato sauce, shredded cheese, pepperoni, and jalapeño.

Our top choice: Pepperoni & Jalepeño

Best side: Salad Bar

California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza KitchenCPK is another craft pizza place, but they also specialize in delicious salads, soup, sandwiches, and family meals. In fact, the franchise sells frozen pizzas in grocery stores all over the country, so if you’ve ever noticed that yellow diamond with the palm tree in the center, you’ve probably seen one of their pies. And if that isn’t enough, CPK also launched their own marketplace in early spring, selling meat kits and alcohol to-go.

And since we’re talking pizza here, we have to give a shoutout to the California Veggie, a vegetarian or health nut’s dream pizza topped with broccolini, eggplant, Cremini mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted corn, red onions, and Mozzarella.

Our top choice: California Veggie

Best side: Tomato Basil Bisque
